| MY TWO CENTS |
First, you gotta get a domain name (or
more than one). The site which is by far the most popular nowadays is
GoDaddy.com
- World's #1 Domain Name Registrar.They
ran ads during the Super Bowl that you might remember. Their prices are pretty
much the best in the business.
Another domain name service I have used a lot is Registerfly.com. They are cheap (ESPECIALLY FOR .INFO NAMES) and they have a good-looking web site that makes it easy to manage your domains. Check the current promos at their newsletter, and you can usually get .com and .net for only $7.99 per year.
Then you gotta get web hosting. I'll walk you through all the steps. But I
don't have time to write it right now, so check back later. You can get a web hosting package from iPowerWeb...
If you are in Canada, you might
prefer these guys (priced in CAD $)...
