MY TWO CENTS

So heres the deal. I got plenty of advice. Am I an expert? No.

But, I live in San Diego, and thats only 30 minutes from the Mexico border. We often have people come to visit us and they want to go to Mexico, mainly to say they've been there, and maybe get a cheap bottle of Tequila or something. So, we have been to Tijuana (TJ) several times.

The usual way to do this is drive down to the last US exit, find a parking lot there (about $5/day) and walk across the border. You'll notice a big difference as soon as you cross.
